Blind lane repairs 192-078 GRM 5226 Colyton

Tuesday the 19th of May four of us or should that be 6...

We were there on the green road for three hours getting stuck in with shifting around some pebbles, which I trailered over in two trips.

Fabian T, Jack D, farmer Chris & yours truly made a huge difference with first installing a rock slope at the Western end of blind lane. Combining with some superb clay sub soil delivered & donated by Fabian with his wonderful truck supplying the delivery method.

I answered the call from Farmer Chris with his concerns the rut was getting deeper on the western end, he couldn't access his fields either side of 'Blind lane' without some sort of works being completed, by who?? Well after Chris's retirement he sold all his machinery leaving it difficult to effect a repair by himself, so he called in the next best thing...

Thanks to all involved on the night smile

The next generation wink

Great effort all of you, hopefully that will last a good while and make it better to ride, plus, help the farmer which is also very important.

Cheers Trevor
