I had some spare time today and nipped out to burrator to check out the locked gate across 202 038. I spoke at length with a ranger there. Apparently the gate has been installed by South west water. Illicit campers have been using the lane and using the leat to wash and defecate in. Its a drinking water sup...
The TRF have been approached by a concerned resident, apparently some users of the lane between Northmostown and Otterton seem to think that because the lane is closed at Newton Poppleford end there will be no other traffic, there are 26 people living along the lane so someone may be coming the other w...
This isn't a moan, or a criticism - it's genuine curiosity. I joined the TRF primarily to find and hook up with people to go riding, maybe meet some new friends. Now in my second year of membership, my only riding interaction with anyone from the Devon membership was to be sternly lectured about the dan...
We have enjoyed many biking trips abroad including Spain, Portugal, Cambodia and Vietnam and will be riding in Thailand next January. My question is we will be riding Kawasaki 150cc and Honda 300cc but my current travel insurance company now only cover up to 125cc. Can anyone recommend another UK co...

Last night I went with my mate Jonnie to look at a 24 model Fantic XEF Trail for him with supposedly low hrs. The Facebook pics were good, it showed a bike in great nick. Jonnie confirmed with the seller on his asking price (2500) and miles (760/32hrs). In theory its worth at the top 4000 - This model is only...

This run had been in the planning for many weeks, possibly months come to think of it, but we never seemed to get a mutually agreeable date when all keen participants were available. Russ finally got his Beta back together after some suspension upgrades and fitting a larger fuel tank which he'd purch...

Highways have been attending 201/035. There was a steep drop over a pipe when entering 201035 from the top. It was exciting riding but has now been replaced with a concrete slope. Makes it more manageable for the less experienced.
