Just wanted some opinions on the CRF450x model, Ive been offered a low use one at a good price, its only got about 10 hours on it. Its an 07 model and is road reged etc.
Just wondering what the maintenence would be like on it if i did buy it, How often would i be having to check the valves and change the oil etc?
I was looking for a 2 stroke but this one has just come up at a price i cant refuse!
sound bike its a honda a little on the big side new moto cross crf450 has shrunk over time thats wear the development has gone and its left its X cousin behind ? a bit to big for the trees in compition should be fine in the lanes ??? lots of go according to the tests ive seen / maintanance its not a XR and wil need regular oil and filter changes engine and gearbox i think are seperate and not much in each , later version not changed much apart from a alloy side stand, model has stood still for a number of years make sure all road gear is in place as it doent come standard :

Went to have a look at it tonight. Has black MX panels on atm as he was going to take it racing but never did, he has the mint orginals. Overall really clean! It has all the road kit headlight, tailight with numberplate etc. V5 etc with 1 months mot left. Even though its an 07 bike it wasnt reged until 09? Im guess old stock. But anyway left a deposit so now have a month to sell my CRM, any offers?

I don't understand if this machine is a 2007 model and was first registered in 2009 why is it MOT'd already?
