Tail bag to borrow for a few days.

Evening all,

Just had my broadband switched from BT to Orange, so it's been a bit of a faff getting it all sorted.

Anyway, now I'm up and running, I'd like to ask if any of you have a tail bag that I could borrow for a few days. I'm due to be riding to a friend's someway East and I could do with a bit more space than just a rucksack. I could probably fit it in me rucky but it'd be a squeeze so it'd be nice to have the space.

My bike's currently off the road because the clutch cable has broken and it's also in for a service before I go off so I wouldn't be able to pick it up. However, I'd be more than happy to pay beer tokens or some sort if any of you would have one to lend to me.

Thanks,

John.

EDIT; P.S. I do have a rack of some sort which may make it easier to fix to.

Appreciate the reply Dan but my tanks a funny shape (the fuel cap sticks out for starters) so it may be awkward fitting it.

Push bike saddle bags would prob do the trick mate. I used them for my trip to spain and i know Brownie used some very similar.

Trago Mills is good for them and they are around the £10 £12 mark.

If you get then they should fit well to the rack. Just remember to bag what you put in them coz they aint really waterproof.

Thanks chaps for the suggestions; decided to have a search round the house to see if I could find anything suitable before trundling up to Bovey. Found a small travel bag that I could use with a couple of black sacks and bungee straps to keep it dry and secured.

Ended up buying a properly comfy pair of Frank Thomas trousers!
