1986 and 1987 Yamaha XT350s

I know there are some vintage bike experts out there so would welcome advice please!

I just bought a side panel from eBay which was advertised as for a TTR250. See:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250700244025&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_500wt_928

It's a brand new side panel in original Yamaha packing but for a 1986/7 TT350 - see http://www.boats.net/parts/detail/yamaha/Y-1LN-21711-00-00.html

Cost me £26 in total. Do I send it back for a refund and probably lose the cost of the return postage or is there a vintage dirtbike market for something like this which might mean getting all my money back if I eBayed it again with the correct description?

NOS stuff does carry a premium, a pair of YZ ones for my bike went for about £90 not so long ago. Whether its worth more than what you paid that I dont know I'd post a couple of queries on a TT forum?

Nice looking bike the TT350

Nice looking bike Dan!

I have decided to advertise it again on eBay and it's here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270647305344

If anyone has membership of a relevant forum for TTs or classics, could I ask you to post up the link please?

Cheers

TTR

Just posted the link Brian on our XT 500 forum where lots of the members have other XT's and TT's.

Bets of luck with the sale, but that has got to be wortha few quid to the right person.
