I've got a big posh thing that plumbers use and it's powered by Mapp gas which burns hotter. Think it's called a turbo torch or something, just pull the trigger and it lights and it stands about twice (three times>) as tall as a standard blowtorch.

I'll have a look in the garage for the make tomorrow 'cos senility is affecting me and I really can't recall the make.

yep turbo torch can use mapp gas or propane, but mapp gas is hotter, use it for brazing copper to copper or ,silver solder copper to metal, does the job pretty good

Mapp gas is better as it gets hotter much faster.

Was the Chinese bike thing aimed at me? 'Cos if it was, I'll have you know that CCM's are British through and through.

Apart from the oriental bits.

Of which there are many......

" Oriental " theirs no Japanese parts on that bike.

You might have to ride it with the fuel bill from the new car.
