Just been scanning thru the archive for a funny photo of our chairman for the NL, this was a bad idea cos once you start........... and most photos of Noel make me smile as he's usually doing somthing daft
Stumbled of a folder of a few of us up on Salisbury plain a couple of xmas's ago.
The temp didn't get above -5c all day but we still had the most excellent time.
The smile on our Hamsters face gives it all way, and the KTM next to him is Dave Muller with the massive ears he made for over the bush guards, we laughed.... till it got cold!!
Noel tried to ride the frozen tank wash and fell off then fell over pickin the bike up , so we all laughed!!
Mark edwards laughed but was so well covered up you would never tell.
And the fella chasing the cows over the very frozen ruts is Mr Studley, just after taking the shot i couldn't get the bike running and they all buggered off, it was so still and quiet just for that few seconds, an amazing day.
So come on guys, share your cool day out!
(PS yes i did find a funny one of noel, but you will have to wait till the NL's done, Ha)!

Looks like you guys had a great day out, must visit Salisbury plains soon.
Last year I took the CR250 up to Maiden Newton, (between Yeovil & Dorchester on the A37) the farmer charges a tenner for all day, some nice jumps and a good technical section at the bottom, my mates came along with their KXF250 and their RMZ250F.
This is where I took the KTM for its first outing to get used to it and put the front wheel in a ditch - I of course carried on for 10 yards or so.
raced at a venue in maiden newton once it pi***d down and was horrible but the pics there look good would be up for a road trip some time any contact details
You just turn up and ride - if the farmer hears any bikes there he potters up and charges. May be worth seeing if I can get a deal if we have some numbers...
Me and a couple of others would be up for this!! Think its a good idea to get a meet organised here? Something along the lines of splitting the proceeds between the land owner and TRF??

That'll be the old hare and hounds, not located there anymore due to the locals complaining. That's what happens when MX riders think they can ride the the local shop.
Is does get busy on weekends, happy to liase with farmer man if this is of interest, would be hard for him to close it to others though, tends to be empty in the week.
