Thats a lot of money! But we all know the horrors of cheap bikes. Will it do as well as the CRF230
It's styled to reflect the current range of XTZ660 Tenere's which are well suited to long distance touring and the odd gravel track, although some nutters do try more extreme stuff.
Even I wouldn't want to tour Spain on a CRF230 as it's better at more technical terrain This Yam 250 has the low front mudguard and road-orientated headlight that would get damaged in the first foray up Tally Ho. To make it a decent cross country tourer would need mucho money spent on upgrades so just buy a bigger bike to start with.......
So - it doesn't look like it's aiming at the same market as the CRF230 and a used TTR250 would be way better on the trails.
