Where are you guys getting these crazy temperature readings from?

I take mine from a weather station in Sidmouth.
Minus 4.4 DegC was the lowest and that was about 9:00 this morning.

Find your own local weather station here
wink

Sidmouth = The sea is naturally warmer than land, and the sea is able to provide heat energy, which has a lesser effect as it goes inland.

Mine packed in last week, managed to fix it myself. Studied the parts diagrams, plus it tells you how to service it. Basically it's just a mini-diesel engine, never really realised until I looked into it. Turned out it was a £12 condenser that failed.

Lets hope it stays "less cold" for Sunday as I recall sheet ice around Red Post area last year.

Good luck to all in the Ten Tors

After leaving the heating on high Yesterday and last night the hot tap started to drip this morning.
After about 15 minutes of dripping it suddenly let go and we now have hot water again. smile.gif

Hope we don't now get a bulge in the ceiling, all good so far...

My neighbour (in Basingstoke) had hers replaced with a Bosch last winter for about £1800 and then got scrappage back of about £500 I think.

3 story 4 bedroom house so large boiler.
