Keep the kicker on, will be installing one on my crf in the near future. Had to bump start mine the other day with much appreciated help, but if I had been in the bottom of a dip somewhere its would have been a different story. As for cars no longer having starting handles cobblers, we don't take cars where we ride bikes not everyone carries jump leads, if you can get easily to the battery that is. As for the recovery services they will only recover from the tarmac road so for me a kick start is a must especially if you do a lot of solo laning.

Two new members who rocked up at our last meeting have bought new Ultrapassars - think they live in Newton Abbot.
Don't know if they are on the forum yet. Think they are friends of Gasser Edwards.
So we should get plenty of feedback one way or another
TTR
Fingers211 and Hev both came on the christmas run. I can confirm the e-start does work well even when said machine has been dropped and turned upside down. The badgers did their worst but it restarted every time. I think they are coming next weekend. Good looking machines.
Looks like a great greenlining /TRF fun day bike to me nice and simple 4t electric start .Its what the Honda XR should of been why oh why did the UK never get the e/start version such a shame only a handful of the jap import e/starts about and only 250cc imagine a XR400 e/start perfect bit heavy by todays standards I know but simple air cooling , no rads sticking out to break, change the oil once a year, oil the chain quick spray of WD40 and that's about it happy days
Having had a XT, TTR, DRZ and then a KTM I looking at getting another bike for green laning. The AJP looks a great bike and I know about the engine, assembly, parts etc but wondered if anyone if using one on here. Having had a test ride I was very impressed how easy it was to ride together with some nice parts and looks great. The servicing is long and 2yr parts and labour warranty which is a bonus.
Anyone riding one and could give some feedback on whats it like to live with (must be easier than my ex girlfriend so thats a bonus ). Also at 5"8' I can reach the floor when I need to without struggling !
I remember seeing 2 on a ride out ages ago.
Thank you
