They are illegal, only the low mounted A type or nudge bars that are type approved can be fitted.
I have a Nissan Navara old skool typo, have owned it for 10 years now.
Never needed a bull bar as even though I live out in the country stray cows are a rare event . I am also a good driver and don't need some cumbersome device to "know" where the front of my vehicle is.
Bull bars of the common decorative type that used to adorn 4x4s some years back are rubbish anyway, as an MOT tester I found they were frequently loose or poorly mounted and one slight nudge low down would often send the bar smacking into the headlights, indicators or bonnet or a combination of all.
Save your money, buy yourself some smart KTM stickers to jazz it up.
What shape navara is it? Farm near us has a 04 which the crank snapped on pretty sure its got a wraparound bull bar on it? I shall enquire. It may be pre dented though as the truck was used for same purpose, cow nudging :L
