Mystery ford

I wonder if anyone will recognise this ford?

This video ends looking up the lane

There is a clue at the end of the second video taken

crossing back the other way if you have not already recognised it

Quite a well loved lane this but not well used as it is rather technical, and I'm not talking about the bridge, it must be quite a few years since the ford was last rideable

Thats Ruggadon 191-074, only rode it on Saturday! Well worth going out of your way to do. Poor pictures, only taken on phone.

Ah, beat me to it.

Presto problems on Ruggadon Lane.JPG

This was one our last rides down 191-074, unfortunately Ian on his first ride, put out his right foot when he stopped, only to find that on his right was a 4 foot drop into the stream. Luckily he broke his bikes fall, but also a rib!

Still yet to ride it fully North to South

191-074

Absolutely correct

Ford barbed wire free and a lot more fun than the bridge

The gulley has got easier over the last ten years

Slightly overgrown now and needs more traffic

Enjoy!

I do hope Ian is better now

As I understand the current legal perspective it would be acceptable to push a machine with a dead engine along a lower status route to avoid an obstruction blocking the road.
Being able to use the ford instead of pushing over the footbridge to bypass the barbed wire obstructed ford must be a good thing and I look forward to seeing photos of people splashing across the water

i thort it was 191 074 but thort that was too obvious,

last time i rode it was with u pete i think, like u say needs more traffic,

i think i will do a run up that way soon!

a very nice lane with a few obstacles that'll keep u on your toes.
