Beer Regatta Week

Just to let everyone know that this week is Beer Regatta Week, so I would suggest not planning any runs via Beer as everywhere will be crowded, as well as parking restrictions and closed off roads at certain times

Regatta Day is Thursday, this is normally chaos with the village almost gridlocked, avoid un less you do not have an alternative

You didn't mention the large number of inebriated persons rolling around Beer on Thursday.

I wonder why Branscombe has a Beer festival, but Beer doesn't have a Branscombe festival?

You dont talk about Branscombe in Beer its known as that place over the hill, as they say any money that goes into Branscombe never comes out

Beer used to have a Beer Festival, I remember getting rat arsed on Ethelreds Whistle Belly Vengance about 14% from what I remember which wasnt much after the third pint

I spent all weekend working at Mylor for the Falmouth Regatta, good ole Cornish Ale fest with a bit of sailing thrown in!

I picked up a large steak pasty from Woozie's on the way back from you on Friday Tim - trouble is I let little Mackenzie try a bit and he liked it so much he nearly had half the pasty confuse

I hope Mrs TTR doesn't read this coz we both ate a proper lunch when we got home wink

Good to get him started with a sample of Devon's finest though biggrin

Maybe you can suggest to Woozie that he starts making Grandad/Grandson large pasties big enough to share smile
