1000 up

Ye gods this is my 1000th posting, how does wacky do it into the millions, must have an awful lot of time to spare or a very understanding boss if not wife

Still roll on the next 1000

Highlights of the forum so far

1) Pearcy Baiting (Suspended at Present)

2) Run Reports

3) Banter between  Gruff, JT and Doug

4) Pearcy Baiting

Low points

Trying to upload piccies for run reports

Trying to download video clips

Realising that the english language is dying, with bad spelling, bad grammer, non existant punctuation and that awful texting speak creeping in.

We spent hundreds of years teaching the world to speak proper english. It was bad enough the Yanks messed it up, but the way things are going the next generation of riders will probably only be able to grunt. Lets have a campaign for proper english to be used, before the skill is lost and reports become unintelligable jumble of garbage.

Ah the works of Shakespear, Chaucer and Tolkien written in pure gibberish, the mind boggles. However its probably the language used by Shelly, Byron, Keats and Coleridge who were stoned out of their minds anyway on majic mushrooms, I mean" I wandered lonely as a cloud" I can remember that feeling in the past, and it must have been some trip that started "In Xanadu did Kubla Khan" Still at least they are now written in english for posterity

I wudunt rekomend it.  I tried something like that once, didn't go down too well. "This is a bike forum not a spelling forum" was the general consensus.  You don't need a very high IQ to ride a bike well, just skill. !!!!!JOKE ALERT!!!! biggrin

Yep I agree with that, but you forgot the "ride out of" bit, or are you still living in the river?

I can be then you could probably have written it in binary and it'd still have made perfect sense to me.
