Hiya and welcome.
We ride everywhere in sunny Devon! You've just missed Haccadown, which is a day in the woods. Keep your eyes open for ride outs your way, but be quick as they fill up quick.

Thanks for that, are there any other members near me? I was looking for somewhere to practice for the hare and hounds meetings. With winter coming I was also looking for a small area of steep woodland for a little trials riding. Is there anywhere you can just go- pay- and ride locally?
Why is it that whenever I ride a hare and hounds meeting there are always a group of KTM riders gathered on a corner. Do they dicuss the weather or play with each others toes? I was hoping you could help me out here lol.

I am aware of what the club is about and was looking forward to a few ride outs etc, etc. However I was hoping that someone had some local knowledge of my area. Even racers need to chill sometimes lol

I fairly frequently ride as far as your area starting from Newton Abbot and I was only about three miles from North Tawton on my last ride out when my second gear broke. Still need to rebuild that but I'm on the road again.
There are rides starting in and around the Exeter area quite often. If you have a trailer/van to get to the start point you will find there are runs all over the county. The TVTR venture out your way as well.

Plenty of local knowledge available to share as there are lanes almost everywhere and we are (astonishingly) still discovering new ones

Thanks for that Pete, looks like I will be signing up shortly. Went out a few times with KTRC, this was pretty good fun as there were some spots that you could have some real good laughs. I do have an extensive engineering / bike knowledge and am always happy to help with rebuilds, set up etc.
Thanks once again
Jules
