Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is the difference between a KTM 450 EXC RACING and a KTM 450 EXC? My insurance company wont cover me for the EXC but will for a Racing, very confusing.
I think that could be the case, I've just been on the phone and insured it as the 450 exc racing, don't know where I will stand if I have to make a claim. You know how bad these insurance companies are at suirming thier way out of pay outs due to details in the small print. Thanks for the replies much appreciated.
hello ok the diff is ? the racings more expensive wye well you you get billet triple clamp fork yokes for starters plus you get the black exel wheel rims instead of the shiny silver ones on stock model i think you also got front axel puller ? diff in the yokes well there stiffer same as moto cross version of this bike so there you go ,lost p.s my mates got the rvf 400 exc racing ? nice bike
p.s moor good news rear shock will be gray in colour thats because its tietanuim same as david knights lol when he road one of these

Thanks Lost, As it now turns out I have bought the racing model assuming it was the stock model, I have the black rims, front axle puller & the R after EXC, you have made my day .
I was aware of the factory and the six day's versions and just assumed that what I was looking at was the stock version.
There are alot of KTM models SX, XCW etc, but there definitely is an EXC and an EXC-R, the specification difference between the two I cannot comment on, but as this fitting list shows they are listed as two different models.
