Auto subscribe to new topics i write or topics i reply to?

Hi,

I can't see to find the option to automatically subscribe to a new topic that i might write or a reply that i post to an existing topic?

It seem's a bit silly that it doesn't do this automatically as i'd imagine most people would want to be notified by email if they've received a reply to a message they've posted?

I'd imagine if some people haven't even noticed the 'Subscribe' button or forget to click it like i have done then they maybe missing out on responses....

Is this an Activeboard forum limitation?

When you start (initiate) a new topic you have the option to be notified of responses.
Don't know if this option is offered to a reply to someone else's topic.

You're right you can select that option when posting a new topic, but having that selected as the default option would be better i think as would being notified of any replies to any posts you've contributed to.

I've missed a few responses in the past all because i didn't click the 'Subscribe' button, which has been annoying to say the least!

If you always start your forum watching by going to "Recent Posts" then you can automatically see which posts you have read or missed.
