General Question, what are the engine service intervals for the Yam WR's ?
Took the Queens Shilling and disappeared for 23 Years !!
The only service intervals in the book for the WRF,s are for competion use.
so its a case of make it up as you go along for me.
oil and filter (fully synth) every 500 miles.
air filter as required (depends on conditions)
check valve clearances and strip regrease swingarm/linkage and headstock twice yearly.

According to my WR250R owners manual, schedules are:
Engine oil - 3,000 miles
Oil filter - 6,000 miles
Valves - 24,000 miles
Steering bearings - 30,000
Cooling system - every 3 years
Personally, i'll do it all pretty much the same as Hampster
I don't bounce like I used to

To be honest the WRF manual might be for competition use but as far as I remember it still puts oil at 1000km (600miles). I did mine every 500 miles and filter every other time. Air filter as and when required and clearances once or twice a year.
I feel the need..........
