Bob Heath Xtravue goggles have a larger than usual space behind the lens for glasses meaning they do not fog up straight away. The addition of a Fog City Fog Thing laminate antifog insert delays misting still further.
Better still consider Laser Eye Surgery. After 25 years of wearing glasses it was the best thing I ever spent money on. 15 years on I still don't need glasses, and it is cheaper in the long run.
Or you could just wait and then examine whatever it is you have crashed into when you are close enough to see it properly.
I tried using goggles over my glasses but found it a bit of a pain and then tried lenses. Theyve been great with no real problems but took a bit of time to get used to putting them in and removing. I really struggled initially but persevered and now find it quite easy. I have a +2 in my left eye and a +1.25 in my right which enables me to have good vision close up and at distance.
Give it a go, it does help a bit with spotting those badgers but not a total prevension.
Thanks Every one ,i got my contact lenses today and all i can say is "why didnt i get them years ago" ive got the throw away ones and they are so good i cant wait to put them on and try my bike with googles! I took to them as soon as they wer fitted ,i may try the monthly ones as i prefer these to glasses by a mile
i have +2.50 and i came out of spec savers and was like a dog with two "fdkyfgkf"s

Marvelous things contact lenses, started wearing them two years ago and wished I had used them many years before. Just remember to take an extra pair with you just incase one gets blown out

I were contacts in the lanes, I can't stand goggles, and find visors just tolerable if they are perfectly clean, contacts are fine but on a cold day they make your eyes water a bit, also they they can move around a bit in your eyes on rough lanes. still better than glasses.
