Trees Down

Just to let you guys know that there is aprox 10 trees blown down in 202-061 some are quite bulky and would be a problem for bikes,I was in my landrover defender tricked up for dirty stuff and managed to woble over them,I told the council but they never have done a stroke down there

Quite a wide lane if my memory serves me well?

i usually do 051 and then 060 if running through that way

I'll ask the local 'tree fairies' if they are interested winksmile

Will do doug but as you know we rely on those who use the lanes to put the info up on the forum before we can act

That is the 'WE' who improve things or at least try too wink

And your recent efforts on tree clearing is an example to all mate - thanks smile

202-061 has been on the Moor to Sea route for the past few years that I have done it. It has access to a couple of paddocks. If access to these is impeded, I guess the lane will get cleared pretty quickly.

Yep I had fun today dodging large branches scattered at random along the lanes here there and everywhere.

Listening to a howling gale as I type and there will be more surprises falling into onto and across the lanes overnight so take care out there.

Just blown a bike over that I was storing outside. Handlebar went through a new cover cry and we are in a sheltered spot.

I am sure there is a lot worse happening out there. Glad I don't live on the top of a hill!

I should be so lucky! I live on the top of a hill and the last wind blew my bike over which was saved from hitting the ground by the handle bar in the side of my wifes car. Still haven't been alowed to forget it.
