"Many South West riders will remember riding in the Brass Monkeys enduro at Smeatharpe aerodrome. The exposed start area and often sub zero conditions meant that the event was a real test of man and machine."

My so-called mate Adrian told me that this event was an ideal first enduro for me many years ago. I only just completed one lap before everyone had packed up and gone home - nearly died.... evileyeevileyeevileye

Thats last years report. Or maybe even the year befores.

MT43 not recommended, Craig.

Oddly enough, I thought I was going to die last year. Cant imagine why I want to do it again.

That is a damn shame.

Video brings it all back, altho it doesnt really do it justice - 27 mile lap, only a very small part of the special test was flat grassy fields. I think the specail was 7 miles, mostly steep woods and lots of mud. First lap was very hard, second lap marginally easier as it dried. As a humble sportsman thats all they they asked us to do. Experts did 5 laps, I think. Respect to them!!!!
