Hi Chris you know what was wrong you didn't have me to wipe out and land on top of like last time, looks like you need to fit a MT43 mate, don't worry you will get up it in one one day just keep practicing, I see Justin and Charlie were on hand to offer plenty of advice

I can say that I manage to clean devil steps with Spider for my first time that was my fourth time at the steps, on Russell's comment I think he's right because I am using a Mt 43 now and I know there is a difference. I am happy with the results at the moment.

sitting back in my armchair like we are all doing right now lol thinking or giving advice ? Devils steps doent get its name for no reason ??? tyre ? tyre pressure ? momentum ? posture sit back ? clutch control suspension set up ? sort all that lot out and you may get up clean ahem ?????????????????
Without a dout Lost you are right, when I first tried Devil Steps I was all over the place, fell off hurt my finger quite bad the nail still black now just waiting for it to drop off . Since then I have lowerd my bike by 2" front and rear now trying a part worn MT 43 to see what goes and guess what for me, magic the bike is to me far better in the lanes and I find the bike don't jump around on the rear end so much My ridding skills seams to have improved so much, maybe I have the bike set up all but spot on for me and the right tyre not all will agree but it's working for me

Ahh yes, 202-301. The start of that lane was resposible for my first puncture in years. Pouring with rain, I noticed the back end a little wayward towards the end by the cottage. By the time I had got 50yds into the tarmac, the tyre was off the rim. God bless the cable ties that Snaf just happened to have in his bag. Tried fixing the puncture, but by the time we went back up it, it was nearly flat again. Still got up ok though. Had to stuff a 21" tube in there in the end. Devils steps has always been kind to me. Hit it hard and fast has always seemed to work

No mystery to it if you have a couple of minutes to spare. Here is
202-301 ridden from the top down to the bottom then back up again.

I'm using a GoPro 2 hd, still working out the best angles and how to edit the videos after thats why i have only uploaded the one which is completely raw footage.
The bikes getting hammered most times and i think its riding better for it
I do however fancy the challenge of 202-301 if anyone is up for it?
Well Pete, that's a great video I have ridden down 202-301 but that was on my first trf rideout. I think if I were passing that one I would have a go now would be nice to get that one under my belt

"Great day out that" Hope you enjoyed the Rugby Geoff always enjoy going to Twickenham great atmosphere especially when we win. Hope you've got a new mount for that camera for our next ride out I'm missing the vids
It's less about the mount matey, more my PC!!! (although I do have to sort a mount for my Airoh S4, as i'll be wearing this on our Devon to Wales trip!) I've still got issues 'saving' my Windows Movie Maker projects as 'Movie' files (WMA) that can then be uploaded to YouTube Haven't had chance to get my IT Dept in work to take a look at it yet to ive me any advice.
For those who asked me before, (with the intention of giving advice?) I think I'm running WMM version 2.1.4028.0
I've heard version 2.6 recommended but this is for Vista and I have XP Professional 2002, Service Pack 3.
You can get 2.6 on Xp just search it and you will find it ! It was originally created for Xp and then converted to vista and 7 later ! But it's the most simple and free app I have used .

I have only been down them steps and woo hoo, it was in torrential rain and I could not be bothered to go back up. But after watching that I will be going back soon
Thanks Peeps for the encouragement, but it was probably the Best Possible conditions EVER!! If it had been raining i would probably still be there now!
What is the Route number ***-*** for Woohoo? Forder Lane?... No i,m not going to try them.. But it will help me avoid them!!
My Kit now contains a 24mm Ring spanner for bending STUFF back into shape .. and going to order myself a spare Gear change lever as i don't think it will bend back a 2nd time!
