WANTED - top box big enough to hold a full face helmet..

... and maybe a riding jacket as well.

Just finished my project TTR which I am going to use as a road bike only. I am going to put a sturdy rack (thanks Tim) on it and am looking for a top box (never thought I would hear myself say that!) to mount on it. I need to be able to put a fullface (XXL) helmet in it plus maybe a riding jacket. Also needs to be lockable.

Anyone got something suitable please or can point me in the direction of a new one?

Brian

Might be able to help you there Brian. I've got one which I was going to use for the Wales camping trip.

You would have to find a way of fixing it to your rack as the base plate broke.

I think it will just take a helmet, but will check. Let me know if you want to have a look. I can post a photo if you like?

You can borrow mine, the one on the right if you like.

I can't see myself needing it for ages. A Givi plate fixed to your rack makes it secure but easily removable.

I think it's 45 litres, takes 2 full face helmets anyway.
