Change to the schedule as the Nutwell venue is too wet on the ground. It is now taking place at Bicton Arena at East Budleigh. See pm for new details.

A bit last minute, but it's the annual Nutwell Horse Trial(Next to the Royal Marine Camp at Lympstone, near Exmouth) They are after 3 - 4 marshalls per day and the DTRF have helped at this event each year, see previous reports from members:

It's a good day out riding your bike on private land, plus being fully fed and watered throughout the day, including cake, scones, cream and jam biggrin

The timings are 9.00am 6.00pm.

The local horse events like us to go along and do a variety of marshalling jobs for them.

This can be score collecting on a cross country course or marking out.

You normally get to ride private ground that you would never get to ride any other way.

This is also a good pr exercise for the trf and we are seen in a more positive light by the horse brigade.

would be interested , as a good event but would be very envious as would not be

riding a 4 legged beast .......
