I don't intend falling off anways I haven't said I'm going hillclimbing yet, just always fancied some supermoto wheels to do some B road 'riding' which my HD ain't really suited to - kinda 'Blacktop laning' if you like
I may have a go at Wiscombe etc for the experiance, I may not - but if I do it will be for a laugh, don't expect I shall be that quick and I shant be pushing that hard I kill my bike or myself there was a girl on an SR 500 and a couple of lads on old CB250 hondas up there last weekend all road legal and they were just having fun -and thats what its all about - I aint geting serious about it, I don't have the time......
I'm in exeter tomorrow mate if they need picking up....they gonna fit straight on yours then?
The front should, the rear will need hub changed i think will let you know once i have visited the master on thurs. You could pick em up mate depends when phil is at home, will call you later when i find out.

im going to have a go and f**k it if the valves go pop.. things break to be fixed. people would enjoy there machines if they rode them more in such a way can end up being costly. no one buys a dirtbike and expects a cheap hobby... unless you own a dr350 or similar crap.
Ok, so wheels in the frame, the front fit perfect as the front setup is the same for 2 and 4 smokes. The rear hub is to big by 6mm so there is no choice but to use the WR hub and relace the rim. The brake caliper may need to be shaved a little to clear the spokes.

I can see the drive but the bike still goes in the same direction as everyone else and that tyre pattern is going in the wrong direction the V in the pattern is going backwards not in the direction of drive .
Think he meant as the drive is the oppisite way then thats why the tyres backwards, as the wheels were fitted to a bike with the "standard" drivechain setup
Not sure what tyres to run once its finished, the current one are racing full wets not road legal and would not last long on the road anyway. Would like to keep them for racing.

I will recommend Michelin pilot power, fantastic tyre, I had them on my wr400 super moto, masses of grip and they wear well. Also a great price at the min.
