Apart from the 'thing' around the headlight that looks cool and OK for £750.....
May be a tad more 'interesting' on an icey morning than the Honda (badged thing) though
Not sure how exposed everything will be without the 'thing' though. Got a spare set of renthals in the garage so I could do it properly.
£750 less for the CR500 though. Not that it needs anything like that much (maybe 75). I think the real problem with the CR is that I have lost my off-road bottle. Once this year's OU course is finished I can spend some time on bikes I hope.
Just had a look on ebay and with a fair wind I could get £200-250 for the fairing panels if I wanted to. Could just fit them instead.

After spending most of the time since my impacted cocyx driving a car and being bored stiff by driving tin boxes on wheels that easily spin and hit stuff I wanted a winter hack. I seriously thought about the CRF but decidied against it as it would entail 36 months of pain also being a 250 it is a bit gay for the road.
So, browsing ebay and came across a streetfightered GSXR1100 in Cornwall. Strange because hasn't be streetfightered due to a smash just a whim. Bit of concern about 3rd gear but it has 12 months MoT and 6 months tax and all the original fairing panels in mint condition - £750.
