Ok so what's all this well ill get to the point we have lost a local asset in the Demise of of Albion Honda ,Kawazaki,Ktm specialist we miss and will continue too , but we still have Kevin presently out of work ? He is in two minds weather to start up a local service for us off road folk if your of the mind of a local to Exeter mech that has the know how to fix your modern machinery then show some support I can pm you his mob number for further assistance so like they tend to say on Face book I think I know the peeps that will press Like ? Meny here speak great volumes of Justin Gibbs top man now sadly all the way down in Plymouth so do we folk up here want somebody local ,if this list grows then ill get Kevin to take a gander ? Cheers and Thankyou for your support
...but how much work will he need to stay afloat? How much work is there for our type of bikes in Devon? Sure there are more riders in Devon than are in the TRF (or use this forum) so I'm sure word of mouth and FB can help spread the word & generate business. Problem is many riders like to do their own work and only use a mechanic for the really tricky stuff - Realistically how much work is there?
Can Kevin survive with this only being part-time work for a while, or for a long time?
I'd be happy to support him but in the 10 years I've owned my bike I've only ever needed a mechanic once and that was to true a rear wheel, not really big business.
Yer i need to find someone local that i trust to do work to the KTM. servicing i do but when a big overhall comes, and like someone else said parts then absolutly.
