Webshots Is Closing: Save Your Photos by 12/1!

Got a reminder email this morning:

"In case you hadnt received notification yet, Webshots is closing on December 1.

The site became too expensive to maintain and was scheduled to be shut down. Under new ownership, we are introducing a new service called Smile by Webshots.

Please note that all photos and videos will be removed from Webshots as we prepare to launch the new service. If you do not want to transfer your photos to Smile, we encourage you to download and save your photos before December 1, when they will be deleted."

 

I think some of my old posts are going to lose all their pics cry

Anyone else used Webshots for their forum pics?

That also means any posts on the forum with image files hosted by webshots will lose their pictures.

That's what I meant to say Craig disbelief

I am just going through the process of uploading the pics and vids previously hosted on Webshots to Photobucket (much slower than I recall Webshots being) so that I can edit some of the old reports and stuff. It's gonna be a long process (especially on my TTR250 forum!) so it's a good job I don't like anything on the telly.......
