But unlike the CRM you do not get Honda reliability and all the road going niceties that the CRM has as standard which the gg lacks.
You did say you wanted a green lane bike did you not?
Don't let idiots persuade you an enduro race bike is a road bike when it is not, just because it has a number plate and is 'road legal'.
Mines never let me down Any bike , bad maintenance = let down Think I'd be safe in saying most on here use their bikes as "big boys toys" and do not commute To work
Feel sorry for you aksing this question on here, confusion, misdirection and fanbois (I'm in the latter but not commenting ). Buy what you can afford, have fun on it, move on from there. It's green-laning not competition.
I agree mate. You need to make your own choices! We all have as we all have our own preferences.
Hopefully not too many will be made, but you'll learn if mistakes are made
Gas gas 450 Fsr. Need I say more. Frigging thing wouldn't even burn right. ****! Bag of ****e but I think it was just "that" bike. I wouldn't have another.
I wouldn't persuade anyone to buy anything, you have to learn from ur own mistakes like I did... gas gases are not built to last (my Opinion!) like Honda but depends who's hands there in and how deep ur pockets are lol :)
I think the 2ts are nice. Just not from the right factory as the true king of offroad bikes. The orange and the blue and yellow ones. Swooooon! Real offroad bikes! Future is bright and all that! Anything else is just ................Honda. Still chuckle over wheelys comment last month. Pmsl. Just go and buy one. Forget all this searching. Like debs says. Just do it!!!

you dont do any maintenance anyway you just sell it and buy something else lol
Not true! Lol. Well maybe a bit. But I always always sell um right. The 400 I sold I had rebuilt at Albion for 1100£ befor I sold it. The guy even picked it up from there. Lol. Gota keep um tip top. I've got shares in pro carbon the amount I've got. Lol. All show and no go. All the gear no idea comments aplenty. Like I give a ****! New one is a proper tool tho. Fi is friggin great.
It was Olly that said it was vibey but then he has a Beemer so i guess a 250 2t would feel vibey after that
Come on stop fighting it - you will come out eventally and imagine the releif when you do. So just flog the old tractor, liberate your self, get a 2t and go out and enjoy it
I may well do JT. I have been admiring Nics' Pampera and even drolling over the Husky WR250 shown earlier. The tractor stays though, it's a solid bike and does everything without asking for much in return.
A gas gas has always been on my list of maybes and this one looks a good example!!
Brilliant enduro machines, often trail ridden, by people who spend as much time maintaining as riding.
Biffs has always been reliable and reflects the time and trouble he takes.
Although fowler has already bought that gas gas 250 now my brother has a 55 plate 200 that he has used for 2 years without doing anything apart from gear oil and air filter . Any bike can cause problems but in my experience of owning 6 different bikes 2t and 4 they all have different issues , I wouldn't say 2t is higher maintanance .
Hiya fowler I did mention you would get lots of advice on here a lot of it sound advice the gas gas 250 enduro is a very good bike one of the easiest competition bikes you could ride ,really there arnt any bad models makes out these days but there are some tatty well worn and dare I say it not looked after bikes out there . Me thinks meny of us go through stages we want change or a we want 4T big or small or a T2 ? Meny a purchase has been made due to reliability finance mileage and skill level what you have should last forever if looked after you can ride competive you could trail ride even do the more to sea , long distance trials then you may have to think again ! The motor in the gas gas has some high end kit within forged clutch basket and piston often hope up parts for many other makes ? Hope the bikes a goodun and you learn many skills it will take you far in that regard You may change again soon maybe not lol all the best lost

Thanks.
Yeah I took the plunge with the gas gas in the end as a mate I ride with has one and it hasn't let him down. I also managed to find one from a TRF member at a good price so it made sense. I've certainly got lots to learn on the bike and I'm looking forward to summer now and all this year has to offer!!
