top box mounting plate fabrication

Hi all, well I've gone and got myself a F650GS and it has a rack but not one I can put my Givi Top box on.

Now the Givi 'arms and plate' is £80!! surely I can can get something 'made up' for less than this, anyone any ideas or recommendations? I'm based in Cully but happy to travel a bit for a decent (and cheaper) job, I find the top box good quality but givi metalwork a little dissappointing.

Thanks in advance

What model topbox do you have Andy? I have got a Baseplate (& topbox) to fit the monolock Givi's. It was fitted to my Tiger now thats gone I was thinking of selling it.

Might be suitable/adaptable for your F650GS, and I wont be asking £ 80.00 for it!!wink

I've got the top box and mounting plate (monokey) it is the ability to stick the rack onto the bike I'm struggling with (It's a 2001 F650 GS btw) it has a rack with pillion grab handles but not enough space or options to attach the givi plate.
