does anyone know if you can get a tax refund on £37 per year tax. {400cc bike) you cant buy the this tax for 6months only a year at a time. "Strangly the gov. website doesn't give this informamtion, doesn't like to give back.
Tells you, you can apply but it doesn't say anywhere on the disk or website if you'll get any money back. I question it just because you can only buy it 12months at a time and there-for wonder I'll get a refund by the month.
I've just read the form online and can see no reason why you won't get anything - you will only get a refund for any full months remaining. I have cashed in the odd car disc but didn't check if they make a reduction for 'handling'.
I'll send it off and see what happens, I've also cashed in many car and larger bike tax disks, it's only the low value 12month only purchase that made me think there's no refund, will let you know.
