sorry to be dim but would like to attend the whole weekend and camp not sure what it will cost my daughter will be riding age 16 with adults? but my wife and I will be with her camping in caravan?
I'm really looking forward to at least one day, much as I am loving the weather a bit of precipitation could be an advantage before the 31st August.
Would it be OK to let my little boy Nick ride with the other kids he has welded his subframe up after Thorns Cross so should get through the safety check.
I think your 'little boy' had better ride with the adults ! - I think he enjoyed himself last Sunday and he arrived home relatively unscathed !..... Bonus.
Please see www.coreoffroadevents.co.uk for loads of pictures and video of the venue, thanks Tim Stephenson for doing the filming and editing.
PayPal is now fully operational so get booking in, we'd had nearly a dozen on the first day so it's looking like it will be busy.
As it was payday for most this week spend a little and get your entry sorted for the best weekends riding you'll have all year. If you don't you'll be missing out on all the fun !!!!!
The long range forecast is good and the track is suitable for all abilities so no reason not to support us as your local event promoter. For years peoe have been asking for the chance to ride fantastic venues like Escot without the pressure of a race environment so here it is.
Fields are a no go I'm afraid Ian, they are controlled by a tenant farmer rather than the landowner and they won't entertain the idea. I am going to add some of the wider fire break tracks in this time to give the riders who need a rest the chance of some easy going and those that want to have a blast the chance to open the bikes up a bit.
It's looking busy matey. Can't wait the evening will be a great chance for everyone to meet up and have a great chat and more importantly bleddddddy great big hogroast.
Weather looking dry all week Sao dust off the old bike and get yourself down to Escot this weekend. I have now added some easier routes into the track for those who fancy a quick easy whip round.
24 hours to go until I turn off the prepay option, so get your entries in ASAP to save a few quid, if you can't feel free to turn up and pay on the day.
A massive thank you from myself and Joe to all who came to the Core Enduro weekender. Without such a great bunch of riders supporting these events it would not be possible to give you the chance to ride some really great tracks.
We have had a fantastic event with lots of people riding on both days, the track was awesome, the weather couldn't have been better and no one got seriously hurt.
I would like to personally thank, Fuelbus Exeter for doing the catering,Luke Dominy for the medical cover, Sharan Clay and Brian for the straw bales and fire pit, Taffy for the hogroast, Mish for allowing use to use the land, Jack Delve, Julian Earle, Kevin Gigg, Stumpy Rodriguez for all of their help setting up, marshalling and packing up and of course Sarah Woodhams and MrsSlim Tyrone for doing the admin ver the weekend and putting up with us being so busy over the last few weeks.
Massive big thanks to all you guys who helped run this popular event, track was set out and run perfectly again thanks to the clerks of the course for a good layout.
