Maybe it's already been posted about but if not I went to the recycling centre this afternoon and noticed the windows at Greenlane were all whitewashed so had a look and came across a notice saying they'd ceased trading on 31st august . Anyone know more details and whether they're likely to emerge somewhere else Yet again ?
I spotted it Thursday when I was dropping the used engine oil off!
sad times these days all over the show, I hope they can keep something going (did I miss out on a cheap bike?)
Well how about a positive post on motor bike dealers, I've just had my Duke and Freeride serviced at JD Racing for a very reasonable price and they were great people to deal with. I was able to speak to the mechanic on the phone about the work required and I got the TRF discount on parts.
Both bikes were picked up and returned for £33. Even if I had a big enough van, I could barely drive down and back for that.
Oh and before anybody get picky about the 10%, I asked if it was available and they said yes but I told them that if any of the parts had a low margin, I would be happy to pay full price.
+1 on that when they've done stuff on my SMC. Haven't been down for a while thought so maybe a visit is in order. Shame about Greenlane, didn't realise they'd closed again and they're only up the road from me.
Dodgy lot from the start !!!!!!! better off gone, sold another bike 3 weeks ago with fractured crank cases and refused to do anything when buyer took it back 2 days later
