Alright there

Went to Cheddar Motopark practice day today, Bike was performing amazingly until the end, i went to accelerate and when my bike hit the power band, the engine shuddered making the whole bike vibrate making a slightly unusual sound.

The bike on idle runs fine reved and the gear box is shifting correctly so i dont think its piston or gearbox

So my question is to all the "Gurus" of Engines, What do you think the problem is?

Just thought id ask on here if anyone actually knows before diving in to work it out myself tomorrow :)

Engine is solid in the frame, but haven't looked directly for engine bolts missing! Ill look in the morning :)

Almost impossible to make a diagnosis from a short descripton! But here's my thoughts .... does it still do it now its cooled down? Did it do only do it under power? was there any loss of power? If you think the engine and gearbox is OK then it can only be wheels or chain/sprockets or as previously said loose engine mountings/cracked mounting/frame. It could be teeth on the gear box sprocket but that would feel like the clutch was slipping.

My suggestion is be methodical and do the easy things first. Check chain and sprockets, wheel bearings, make sure wheel isnt rubbing, no rocks jammed anywhere, then check engine mountings and frame, take out plug and inspect for over heating, after that you've prob got to take things apart!

Worked it out, very simple, shearer 3 teeth off my front sprocket, Nice one JT for suggesting it! So simple :)
