So after acquiring my fireblade, passed mot with flying colours other than a dodgey blinker and an advisory on front brake pads that they are getting low.
This to me this is concord, it's fast, it's scary, and it will probably end up killing me, but it's also easy to ride and thats how it's going to be riden(most of the time), I'm not after any mega moto gp style pads that take a trillion years to heat up and work. I want something that can perform in normal riding circumstances, but also deliver the stopping power when the sun is Shinning and I'm panic braking after seeing how a flappy top lip feels in the wind.
I see a lot of brands and budget pads. On an enduro I have never been fussed but this is a little more fragile to me. So I was just hoping to get some input and info on opinions and recommendations, I read somewhere that mcn suggested upgrading the orignal pads even when new out the box so that's why I'm reluctant to pay top $$ on oem.
