1. Only if you have been hiding skills from us and want to show them off
2. Yes
3. Not on a TTR
4. As you say, nope, the TTR is not one of them
5. If your own insurance doesn't cover you - read the small print - it is available from WEMC for an additional £10 usually and I think details are on the entry form.
Trails (apart from where your motorcycle is travelling on a road which public have access to)
As you know the route, would I be covered?
Also on the form it states a trials tyre on front and rear, does this mean the comp iv on my front is no good? And I need to put a proper trials on the front?
Any reference under exclusions is not intended to give you rights, but it clarifies the extent of cover for an ldt. If as you say your insurance covers you for the public highway part of the route you are covered for that part of the route. However there is a great deal of the route which is private and not open to the public except in connection with the event and on the day only, and whatever some may say about insurance covering public places and public access to events I think it would be an uphill struggle to make a claim there should something happen. WEMC RTA insurance cover is cheap.
My recollection is that you can do the course with a knobbly on the front and you will be scored as you go around but not eligible for any award. I think that's right Pete?
So the decision depends on whether you are pot hunting Steve
Don't forget I'd like run sheets or track logs whether from pot-hunters or a numptys as with so many entrants riding the lanes in one day it's a valuable addition to our usage archive.
