Anyone going tomorrow to the Vic Ashford Moor to Sea ? Got some questions !

Hi

Im signed up to ride the M2S tomorrow. Never done a trial ride before. Im told there are 30 trial sections in the day. In each of the trials, Ive been told they are optional, but I want to at least attempt them. Do you have to complete each triale without putting a foot down ?? Or can i stagger around at leisure ! ?

Hope to see a few of you there tomorrow.

Wave when you go past me !

All the best

Gaz

LDT's are great, can't come on this one but have done the ten tors. Just enjoy yourself and have a go at all the sections, doesn't matter how many times you put your feet down on your first LDT, but you will get more competitive later!

Enjoy

Steve

Give all the sections a go. Zero points for a clean, that's no feet down, three for a couple of dabs, five if you stop in section or don't even attempt it. I surprised myself one year by cleaning the Down progressional climb, especially as I'd left my camelbak at the bottom as I was expecting to roll back down the slope minus the bike.

When ever I get the results, I can't believe how many people on enduro bikes manage to clean so many sections. If they're on trials based bikes, I could understand, but boy some of them can really ride. I just do it for the laugh, although not this year. I see there's a few new sections which will be good for those that enter every year.

Good luck to those that have entered.

Please submit runs sheets to me for this.

Some sections will be truly 'off road' but a record of the lanes you ride will all be useful usage evidence for the DTRF archive.

Cheers,

John

Moor to sea. Never mind the trial bit, crap at that anyway, the route, scenery and terrain were absolutely unbelievable.
It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to be allowed to ride in places that simply arent normally accessible.
Thank you so much to all those that made it possible, especially John and Jim.
