Any scaffolders out there, need some more quotes for my house over august been quoted £2300 for 4 weeks upper half and three chimneys is this about right ?

Hi Doug

Ive just finished painting my pebbledash house and got 4 or 5 quotes for scaff. Typical quote now is £400-£500 per side (plus VAT). Very expensive but most companies said it was due to health and safety that prices have gone mad.

Ok, that makes sense, maybe i get the scaff for the difficult bits then ladder the rest myself ?

Hire a tower, cheaper than scaffolding and safer than ladders.

Painted my house a few years ago off a ladder, hard work and ended up with a broken wrist, broken finger and 2 broken ribs and that was falling off the step ladder no

Yeap, looked at tower but have conservatories to get over and tight access to one side !!! could use tower at the front only.

hi doug my brother owns a scaffold company called plymouth scaffolding 07972371063 this is his business partners number they are really competitive they will slash those prices let him know dean bailey put you on to him
