Can you be a bit clearer about your requirement please. Is this an old bike needing recovery of it's original reg no or a modern bike that's never been registered or something else. I think DVLA have changed things recently but a feller called Mike Worthington-Williams who writes a column in Old Bike Mart got me the number of my Puch. As a result of DVLA changes, he doesn't do it any more.
Thanks for the replies folks. I have found what I needed. There is a company in Bristol that will handle all the paperwork, including dating certificates etc for a fee.
As the Husky 390WR has been on a Q plate since I have owned it, I thought it would be nice to put it back on the correct age related plate for 1978. The next one after that will be the other 390 Auto. I don't have the time, inclination or need of the hassle from VOSA, and being lazy I wanted someone else to do the hard work.
The cost quoted for doing the job was £95. All I have to do is sign the pre-filled form and post it. Ok, probably not as simple as that, but damn close.
