CORE OFF-ROAD EVENTS -cotton farm 12th October

Right then it's now the last pay packet before our next event so get yourselves organised and entered for Cotton Farm practice day near Tiverton, Devon. On the 12th October.

This is a venue for all abilities and preferences, it has a full MX track plus approx 3 miles of enduro circuit giving you the choice of combining the two for one long lap or concentrating your practice in either area.

We will be operating an open pit policy giving you the maximum amount of ride time. -where else can you ride on a purpose built track from 930-1630 for just £25 pre paid online ?

As usual we will be supported by 'Countywide Medical services,'Love Food'will be looking after all of your culinary needs and our team of marshals will be keeping you safe.

Please take the time to share this so as we get as much coverage asossible. This is a very expensive venue so we need a good level of pre pay riders in order to make it happen.

Any one coming I've booked in, just seen the video and it looks like a 3 mile track though fields and woods
I'm running front rear trials tyres (my choice don't like knobbles ) as the ground is mixed

That new format means I can enter the race and ride at my level for as much as I can (which wont be a lot)then the rest of the day its a practice session
Sounds like they got it right for all riders

Trouble is insurance, track, paramedic cover etc is all chargeable by the day, so I would need large numbers both days to make it viable. There's not that many people who can afford the cash or the time go ride 2 days in a tow. Good thought though.

Cleverspoon, could be a excuse to get you to race ;) you would not have to finish the race if you did not want to. Just be a good laugh.

Been to mark the track out today and it is in great condition, really dry even in the woods.

We have changed it a bit from when we held the race there adding in some optional hard routes and some really easy bits for those who just want a flowing ride round.

The forecast looks good so all in all its looking like its gonna be a great day, get booked in www.coreoffroad.co.uk

That was a good day out ,Trials tyre worked a treat ,rode the main loop in the morning then went on the hill bits and what good fun was had (even thou I didn't have a clue where I was going)
The hard routes was not as hard as I imagined it would be (I would recommend trying it . I was not the best by along way but I had the most fag breaks which was fun as I could watch other riders who could seriously ride
Cheers to the Core crew

I will second that.
A really good ride, managed to get stuck in the rut twice!
Loved the track, plenty of technical stuff, really good practice and as it dried out a bit, could really get a move on.
On an old man bit - why for f**ks sake cant people clear their crap up!
Some riders just leave their rubbish where it lands. Some vans left and there was a ring of rubbish around the footprint, anything from banana skins to polystyrene cups etc etc.
Similar gripes with riders cutting the clearly marked out course. Any pratt can go quick if you cut out all the hard bits but more importantly what is the landowner going to make of it.
Just put yourself in the farmers position, he doesnt want your crap and he wont appreciate his land being dug up just because some riders either cant ride well enough, in which case they need more practice, or because they are pig ignorant.
We need the farmer on our side far more than he needs us!
Gripe over, a really good day, bring it on!!

Top day out. Excellent work by the Core crew. Well set out course, well run event with easy and hard route options. Something for everyone. More please. Although not happy with the level of piss taking from the organisers towards some of their paying guests! Specifically me and my pixie.
And once again excellent catering, far above the food on offer from the normal "vans of death" that tend to be at off road events.
