Could anyone tell me the lane numbers for devil steps and woo hoo, as I am planning a visit soon. I have done them once before, but only down and I am desperate to have a go up them.
Defiantly uphill is best, Woo Hoo 202-154, Devils steps 202-306 Would say these days Woo Hoo is now trickier than the steps but the tricky section is a lot shorter, both great fun though and far more likely to be dab free up the steps, have fun When you going? Can I join in?
I am gong down that way on Monday the 3rd (bunking off work for the day) You would be more than welcome to join me, Starting at mine Between 8.30 and 9am, would be down your way by lunch time, I think

Sorry Steve Mondays out for me but if you are venturing a little further and want something challenging try Washabrook in Kingsbridge 202-301 uphill
Try one by Totnes which starts from a farm going upwards.... A rough very steep climb but smooths out then onto the totnes main road..........cant remember its name but Mike has it. Makes Angel steps look like a driveway

I think the lane mike W is talking about is 202 052 at rocombe. Im not sure that it is massively tough but looked challenging the last time we rode it.It should be most fun east to west uphill from the farm. Google maps make the track look as if it has been smoothed out- hope not , it was the washed out steps that look the challenge- nice n steep!!!!!!!
The track at the somerset forest day had some tough climbs, even on the main loop which were good practice.
