looking for a transit van would prefer newer shape 06 onwards but only a budget of £4500 

dont want high mileage anyone know of one for sale thanks

Good luck in that hunt -- they are good trucks but there's so much abused contractors crap out there. They dont all rust like buggery but a good few do - so choose carefully. Stretch to the top of your budget if you can and get the best you can afford (thats what I was advised)

We got one a few weeks ago and I've been really happy with mine - a SWB but with a medium roof, so great for changing in etc. Mines one of the newer shapes but also a Euro4 class so only £140 a year tax.

I too have a 56 plate mk7 nice vans. but rust to fu****g bit's from the bottom up take a good look at the cill's an bottom of the wheel arch's front to back as Ford put very little paint on the underside. unless some exra paint work has been put on the underside from 3-4 years old it will have holes. an along the rear beam under the bumper
