Had a big B day recently, sold the HD and treated myself to something I always fancied - a brand spanker.....had to bin the stock pipes pipes and rear mud guard, Just had the mirrors off and need to sort the std exhaust bracket as well...
Few more things to do but she rides lovely.
Still have the Honda for the more technical lanes

Very nice indeed....Theres a program called DealerTool that connects to ECU etc for servicing/diagnosis and throttle balance plus resets the service light etc when you come around to needing it in the future.(Saves loads of money)
Got a few miles on 'Arnie' now and he's 'freeing' up nicely - I know its mine and I'm bound to say it, but I do think its the nicest bike I have even ridden......Well chuffed and Tigerman - thanks for the words last week mate you were right and I'm so glad I took the plunge
And yes I agree he needs some knobblies - but the Bridgestones will do for the summer

Well, some one had a quick ride on Arnie and......
Now he has a new friend
When I was thinking of getting him I was also considering a Duke - was able to compare back to back at West Bay on Friday. The Duke is really nice and I suspect a better road bike but just a tad 'to modern' perhaps for my taste? - not sure, If I had the funds I'd like one of each

Riding with enthusiasm upon the ragged precipice of disaster
Hi Hoops good to hear from you Seen Savage recently? I have to put up with him several times a week off to Par with him all day on Weds
What Triumph did you have and what happened to the spokes?
Hi JT - only seen Pete once since he left, he seemed to cut off all contact with his former work colleagues I did bump into him in B&Q a few weeks back though, so it was nice to catch up. I have a Triumph Tiger Explorer, the finish on the spokes/fasteners is appalling for a bike <1 year old and Triumph weren't interested under warranty (this on a well cared for bike not ridden on salted roads in the winter!). Anyway, it;s going this weekend which is a shame because apart from that, it's a really great bike to ride.
Dan - been spending all my bike time on the tarmac! How are you?
