Ive never had water get in, it can have the power cable attached and tightens up enough not to move on its own or vibrate.
The only negative is that my first one ended up having quite a scratched screen (the case, not the phone) from using it with grit and mud on there. I solved that problem with my second one by putting a screen protector film on there which i can change if it gets roughed up.
I'm sure that is true of any similar case too so i had no reservations about getting the same case as a replacement.
Think they are around £30 give or take a bit depending on the mount you get, £20 if you don't mind waiting for it to come from hong kong or similar.
