I have bought a project for the winter. However i am not quite sure of the model.. Reading the frame serial number i am pretty sure its a 91 as the 10th character is a M which I understand to be 1991. However I am unsure whether the the bike is a CR 250 or WXE 250 or WMX 250 or WRK 250...??
I have the frame number but i can't seem to find any online register that includes my series of digits.
Looks like a 1991 CR250 as i cannot see the side stand lug. Plus look at the kink in the subframe.
The one below is a WR250 1991
Note yours is missing the plastic fork sliders and the rear frame loop.
CR = close ratio MX - WR wide ratio Enduro
If the engine has been looked after well these go on for ever and ever, if you want anymore advice don't be afraid to ask i have had many of this type of husky

To be honest it seems quite sound. good compression, clutch and gearbox. starts well and engine seems strong. Who would you recommend for parts. Many thanks..
Not sure how well the early 90's Husky's are catered for when it comes to parts. You could try Andy at www.hva-factory.com Although he deals mostly in the Swedish bikes until they stopped in 88. DC Plastics in the U.S. have a range of reasonable quality panels. Not concourse quality, but perfect for a rider. I use them on my late 70's Huskys. The rest you may have to hunt for.
It is worth looking at www.cafehusky.com Yours is too late for the "Left Kickers" section, but you may find some useful sources in other parts of the site.

Give Husky sport a ring as they should have the contacts in Italy for parts. I needed some parts for my 02 wr360 had to wait a while until a manufacturing run was done.
