This is the posting on the STRF forum

"Somerset TRF are running a Fun Day / Practice on 12th Sept on private venue near Wellington, Somerset. Tickets are £25 each and are to be pre-booked by replying to this post. We are limiting it to forty riders and it will start 10am to 4 pm. Unlimited riding time but REAR trials tyres ONLY and quiet bikes please. Other words no motocross bikes just trial, trail and Enduro bikes please. The track is a marked out motocross/Enduro type with about 30 jumps per lap, approx 7 minutes long. Nice and wide for plenty of overtaking. There will also be some trials type sections around the track if you fancy slowing it down. There will be the BBQ and tea urn as usual at our events.
Please remember trials rear tyres and tickets only. We already have about 20 tickets sold to strf members so please be quick if you fancy a ride on this great new venue.
Look forward to seeing you there"

No other details given yet. no

Martyn

Try
www.somerset-trf.com

If you fancy riding and can commit to a ticket just put your name down and we will greet you at the gate on the day.
Pay your £25 and you will be given a ticket.
But we do ask for advanced notice, please don't just turn up on the day and expect a ride without booking.

Cracking day, if a little testing in one place :). But overall flowed really nicely and a nice warm welcome to boot, thanks guys will definitely come again. Also need to get in contact with one of your guys, it may be your chairman about Romania Trail holidays.

Cheers Rich

Thanks guys for putting on an awesome event. The big hill got the better of me so many times, was so slippery up there. But aside from that the track was fab - more so when it dried up a little through the afternoon. I think overall if I include the full circuit then for me it's the hardest thing I've tackled this year!!

Keep us posted for the next one - & hopefully DTRF can support it with more than 2 of us

Cheers again - oh and some of those Somerset lads can handle bikes pretty well !!

I'm on Ibrofen and rum now - needed after going slightly off piste and hitting a hidden piece of old brick wall - I flew well !!
