I'd like to apologise for stopping two trail riders on Muttersmoor Road this morning; I thought they were riding illegally. They were nothing but polite to me, explaining about the TRF and respectfully telling me I was in the wrong. I got home, checked my facts and would like to apologise to them for interrupting their ride, and thank them for being so polite and respectful, knowing the legality of their actions much better than me.
They were a breath of fresh air after having to deal with bullying, illegal riders on footpaths in the area, and I'm sorry to say that my experience with non-TRF associated riders biased my opinions.
If this message could be passed on to those two in particular, or circulated generally, I'd be very grateful.
