Apart from the fact that the old ones I guess will now see heavy discounts - no, as one of the reasons I got mine when I did was I wanted one of the last ever air cooled ones
I'm just coming to terms with FI and these have ABS, Traction control and all manner of new fangled gizmos that I just don't need
Some nice details though - I love the 'carbs'
And the case cover detail - but then I am a bit sad like that
A mate just got one a couple of months back he was bending my ear on Saturday he wished he had hung on an that Triumph had been very quite about the 1200 he only found out last week about it

ABS is mandatory on all new bikes over 125 according to new Euro 4 legislation, you have to wonder what effect that's going to have on trail bikes?
Looking at these bikes, Triumph must be onto a winner here, not so sure on the gold forks on the Thruxton, looks like they've copied BMW a bit too much there. Really liking the silver and red bike, looks a bit of a sleeper... what with that 1200 engine and the decent front brakes, not so keen with the big clearance between the rear tyre and mudguard, could have reduced that and beefed up the seat thickness a bit
Oh and it's missing a kickstart and the gearlever's on the wrong side
Looking forward to seeing these at the end of the month at the NEC.
Edit: Do not like the exhaust pipes covering the rear wheel spindle on some models, always a daft idea...having to unbolt and take the silencers off to remove a rear wheel is annoying

That's OK as the one without gold forks is cheaper
Have they announced the UK prices then Jon? I can't flippin stop looking at them...I haven't been like that with any new bike for donkey's years
Triumph are very clever, they know exactly who buys their bikes and these bikes really look terrific, they've got great marketing with all these young dudes and then they get bought by creaking old guys like us

Had a mail earlier and prices are around £7400 for the street twin, £9800 for the T120 and the top spec Thruxton is £11800 - £10800 for the one without gold forks etc.....
