The bike has lost lots if weight or i have added lightness !!
Parts removed 1. All of the old wiring loom. 2. Both mudguards 3. Various chrome rubbish (bling) 4. Old forward controls (going on eblag soon unless someone wants them make me an offer) 5. Old seat
Tasks ongoing
1. Re-wire ignition and starter with button starter and bar kill switch, i intend to fit some small detachable lights in the event i might get caught by the setting sun. 2. Fit large alloy racing number plate in front of triple trees. 3. Back wheel sent to Dave Massam for new 19" rim to be fitted, other wise i cannot use the right Flat Tracker tyres. 4. Fit custom shorty rear mudguard, once i have cut 6" of the rear rails !!! 5. Clean and paint/wrap exhausts, i have not made up my mind yet what small silencers i want to add to the end of the down pipes, would love to fit Supertrapps but to large an expense at the mo. 6. Re-paint the oil bag its currently chrome i could sell mine and buy a painted one but cannot be bother with the eblag hassle. 7. Remove and paint the rear caliper and hanger, both in chrome and pealing ! 8. Fit the very nice period sport tank that JT gave me (official sponsor). 9. Re-fit original type mid controls = sourced of eblag recently for a very good price. 10. Relocate the Regulator/Rectifier to under the seat area, harley always site them at the front down tubes something to do with riding in the south it gets very hot apparently ?
11. Fit new tyres front and back.
Will add some alarming pictures later.
This is the look i am going for:

Two of my mates went this year, absolutely loved it!!
There are classes to race absolutely anything on two wheels.
So standard TTR to the proper tools for the job!
They havent stopped talking about it ever since.
They are trying to sound out Highbridge and the Cornish Pirates track and access to, will post if I have more details.
Both are well on the way to having two bikes sorted.
