Check your clocks, bloody BST!

A last minute rideout was planned Saturday night, for Rupe, Rich & I.

Its the first time I've put the 690 onto the lanes with the knobblies on, so I was keen to head on out. Rupe had to jack as he couldn't find his V5 to tax the new bike, so it was just Rich and me.

First time using the Viewranger App, and it was brilliant as we headed towards Stockland, and the phone even stayed on when I dropped the bike into the stream, no photos so it didn't happen! wink

Took me another lane or two to get used to the new tyres, and then the day just flowed, even when I realised I had loaded the wrong route, and we ended up near Honiton!

Now, I haven't yet sorted out a dc supply to charge the phone, and we all know iPhone batteries are crap, so at about 2pm we lost the route, not that we were following it anyway. It was around this point that we realise the bike clocks were still on BST, so we didn't need to rush back as we had thought, so we headed north to Shute woods, then into the joys of Dalwood and beyond.

Excellent day out on the bikes, and a Waterprof USB ordered for charging (so considerate of KTM, they even put a power supply behind the headlight for just such a thing)smile

Also met a couple non TRF riders from this area, so after a quick 5 minute chat it seems we may have two more members soon.

Now, someone tell me how to email the route from my phone to John Leah!! confuse

Pretty good bud, pretty damn good. Hit the 1000 mile mark yesterday too, so proper run in now. biggrin

Thanks for leading bud, great to be out.

Don't worry about emailing the tracklog, my gps captured it all so I'll do that.
